3. As DWCAP already pointed out, when I refer to the delusional sellers, I’m referring to the current listings.
So, can you your DWCAP clarify on this statement? Are you saying all current listings are delusional or just some are delusional? Are these delusional sellers? I know most if not all are not the type of house you’re looking for, but they’re in 92009 none the less.
Those are just 92009. As we all know, 92009 held up much better than 92029, which you mentioned you’re also looking at as well. We’ve already gone through many very reasonable listings in 92029 before. They’re not just the home you’re looking for.
As I’ve said in another thread, I feel for you and your situation. But I think you have a very specific set of requirements that I don’t think is very representative of the market as a whole.
AN,
Most of those are two-story and/or have HOAs, which eliminate them from out list right off the bat (they’d have to be exceptionally cheap for us to even think about it).
The single-story ones without HOAs have certainly been in our line of sight, but they are all too small or have irregular/small lots. I think these homes will have offers on them soon enough.
Yes, as I’ve said many, many times before, some houses are priced well enough that some people will buy them. We just haven’t found the one that we are willing to buy (or that the sellers were willing to sell at our price)…yet. 😉
