Temecula actually have more major corporations than Bakersfield, all the while, having 1/3 of the population.[/quote]Bakersfield doesn’t need a “job center” but does have many teaching, govm’t jobs and medical jobs. Like Fresno, it is primarily an agricultural hub. People who are highly trained in high tech jobs, for example, wouldn’t have any reason to move to Bakersfield.
