That’s all part of the show. If they wanted to actually do something about the credit rating agencies (and they’ve had plenty of reasons to do so), they would have investigated them years ago, IMHO.
They hold those congressional hearings to appease the masses. Very few people ever seem to get into any real trouble. Maybe some unfortunate underling gets thrown under the bus; otherwise, they pay small fines to show that “justice has been done.” 🙁
