AK brings up an interesting point – I wonder though how much it would cost to fill the pool according to codes
I believe code requires the walls of the pool be torn down to 18-24″ or so below ground level – there are also code specs for drainage holes in the bottom – probably code specs for appropriate material to fill the pool and compaction of that material
