Agreed, most people do this to some extent. The Jewish people are a tiny minority of the world’s population and have been persecuted throughout history. They want to be sure that their ethnic and religious identity and traditions are able to survive over time. I get why they do it, but agree that we should be able to question the ethical and moral issues surrounding it, too.
