Agree that politics and economics are intertwined. But arguing about political parties is IMO useless. Frankly, from all I’ve been gathering, they are pretty much one and the same. Slight differences, but both parties beholden to one master. And I’ve also noticed that some people just select parties based on candidates’ personalities. Admitting that sometimes liking someone helps, but difficult to look beyond that at decisions and track record. In any case, I think if we can avoid which party is better stance, which is pointless, IMO, maybe we could interject some politics in the discussion. Fine line, so still thinking best to not do it at all.
