After all this talk about rice shortages I stopped by 99 Ranch yesterday to pick some up since I was getting low anyways. They had plenty of bags of rice on the shelves and a huge pallette of Jasmine rice bags up in front. They were limiting the bags to 2 per person but it didn’t seem like they were in danger of running out. Price was $34 for a 50-lb bag or $3.50 for a 5-lb bag. Doesn’t seem like prices have gone up much if at all.
