Just last week a lady at a party stated, “I knew he was a smoker before I married him, but I thought I could change him… He did quit for 7 months but…”
I just busted out laughing. This is a common thought among many women esp. those who go after the bad guy on the bike, etc. But to actually hear out loud was just precious.
