Needless to say, this is a very, very bad idea. You can’t tell me that with the taxes our govt collects, they don’t have enough resources for emergency services. Then where is that money going? This is pure B.S.
Californians are taxed enough at all levels. I’d rather see Prop 13 get reversed than see this — and I strongly favor Prop 13. Our tax money is being grossly mismanaged (and it is) if they can’t afford emergency services with their current revenues.
