Each class or course in comprehensive sex education offered in any of grades K through 12 shall include instruction on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, including the prevention, transmission and spread of HIV AIDS.
Cleary McCains advert is accurate; the bill calls for Sex Ed for grade K and up and requires “safe sex” discussions with 5 year olds. This is not a “candy-from-strangers” piece of legislation.
I agree that keeping kids informed is a good thing, but there is a time and place for it. I do not want Big Brother Obama dictating the timing and content of that information. That is my conversation to have with my kids when I determine they are ready. Only the most arrogant politician with deep facist tendencies would think it appropriate to take decisions like these away from parents.
This guy is not going to change anything – he is a relentless careerist, and really just another big-government Democrat who is determined to intrude in your life, take your paycheck and redistribute it to the special interest voter groups who back him.
