San Diego natives have been saying “there is no life east
of I-5” for years. Sadly, watching this city sprawl to building on land on which homes should never have been built is proving to be catastrophic. Only time will tell to what degree.

I have always felt San Diego should have placed a moratorium on construction years ago–as Marin County did. Greed and stupidity in the construction industry have ruled this state for years, and now we are paying a price beyond comprehension.
