while 65 is the official retirement age, you can still work beyond. how many of the boomers can actually afford to retire… and because they’re.. well, still alive, they need the stuff that goes with living. somebody has to pay for it, whether ss, relatives, 401, whatever, they’re not just going to go homeless.

i have a feeling my folks (my dad anyway) will work (and spend) till he keels over. because they have to. afterwards, their property goes liquid and dumps back into the system…
