I’m lucky because in my 40s I still look young and feel young. I can relate
to both old and young. My young relatives treat more like a peer.
Boomers are selfish. The grew up polluting the environment. As youngsters, they tinkered with their muscle/sports cars. Even as old men, they drive polluting Harleys. They think nothing of dumping used motor oil in the ground, or hunting deers for fun. They would go grenade fishing if they could. They think a Trump hotel resort is badass.
Millennials are more thoughtful. To them a Trump hotel (or anything overly ornate) has an ick factor. They recycle. They don’t really like cars. They are less into brand name and badass stuff. They want authenticity; they want more of a genuine experience for their money.
Example: To treat themselves boomers would like a luxury cruise where they can gorge on buffets served my slave labor from poor countries.
For the same money, millennials would rather do eco tourism.
Not saying all is rosy with millennials, but there’s a big contrast.[/quote]
