I have a coworker/friend that just moved down here from San Rafael Bay area last year, he lives in a 4 or 5 plex dump across from the beach in Oceanside and pays nearly $2400.

He wants to move and likes my area near Calaveras open space preserve. I found a rental in same townhouse complex I moved out of 5 years ago ( I had lived there for ~2 years)I paid $1,500 for 2/2 with full 2 car garage and fenced yard that allowed my big dog, today same street 2/2 is asking $2,500.
