I agree, the Costco gas station is ridiculously busy, but I find the store itself to be much less crowded than PB or Mission Valley.
Love the roadrunners, though they are much smaller than I expected. The cartoon always made the roadrunner and the coyote the same size.
I have seen a couple of praying mantis, but no walking sticks. We do see alot of very large grasshopers in our yard and a small frog lives in our sons outdoor toybox. The toybox lid is always open and that frog has been sleeping in there for almost 6 months. It is very funny.
The owls are great especially when they call to each other at night. We enjoyed hearing the coyotes last fall/winter, but we have not heard them yet this season.
I have yet to see a cat in the neighborhood. I would guess this is do to the coyotes.
