As long as you have clearance for things like doors etc…
And you can live with floating the laminate floors instead of Glue (makes it easier the next time you want to change it again).
Why not just float the new floor on the tile ?
ie.. put the underlayment down on top of the tile.
I have installed laminate flooring before, takes me about 1 day to float a room working slow and careful.
Quality Laminate can hold up better than real wood in some cases as it does not absorb stains etc..
