If LL is charging $1.99 sq/ft and you can’t find anyone a lot cheaper who is recommended, then I would go with LL in case you have any issues after install.

I did floating engineered wood floors from Home Depot once and had someone else install. Starting having issues a few months later and HD/Manufacture blamed it on istaller and installer blamed it on product. I got stuck with the huge bill to resolve.

Personally, I will only go with glue or nail down applications now.
