Because she knew it was wrong – that is why she did it in a ‘concealed’ manner. It was a conscious act.

She gets counseling because of the abnormal compulsion. There is a conscious act to ‘give into’ her compulsion – thus the jail time.

If I have a compulsion about speeding(extreme speed).. and cause a wreck that kills someone, should I do time for the death because I made the decision to press the accelerator that hard despite knowing that what I was doing was wrong and dangerous.. or should I just get psychoanalyzed for the compulsion.
