BF and I moved in together 6 months ago he had 2 skittish, unaffectionate, stand offish, cats. I had 2 dogs (crazy/ hyper weimaraners). My dogs are weird one is afraid of the cats and the other wants to play.

They were 2 male neutered cats (2 and 3 years old) who were previously house cats in a 2nd story condo. Within a month of moving into our house one of the cats got out, freaked, hung out in the back yard for 2 days and when we came near ran into a culvert known to be traversed by coyotes. We have not seen him since….

The other cat is now affectionate and friendly. He hangs out with us and plays with one of the dogs.

I am in no way recommending that you throw one of the cats to the coyotes, but….
