We have some friends in the Composer district, they all seem to like it there. I honestly do not know what kinds of homes are sprinkled throughout, as I generally went to their houses without looking around. The ones I know live in some really fancy digs on a somewhat private street. There are ex-pro athletes and current ones living in that area, and many kids. I don’t know the area well enough to say if they have adequate places to play and hang out. Elementary aged kids attend the Cardiff Schools in that area (separate from Encinitas Union). Once in Jr. High it all reverts to San Dieguito schools.
