So did i and concur on this. I also lived in the DC suburbs from 04-06 and the news was constantly murder related.

The difference is that those two cities are US controlled and regulated, mexico is not. English speaking country where you can dial 911, spanish speaking where if you are chased on foot or car, you cant dial for help and you may not be able to outrun someone.
