Heck my company does background checks and checks GPAs and verifies degrees issued – and has for more than a decade… so screwing up your first year of college CAN follow you for a long time.

Hmmm, I attended a private college in UK back in the early 80’s. Apart from my certificate, I have a hell of a time with these kind of checks and have less patience for them.
