Thinking about it, the Andalusia lots were nothing to write home about (normal really), so maybe there are some holdouts there for better locations, but there we still plenty of deferrals when both had plenty to choose from.
Also, some of the best (and most expensive) lots went earliest, but several could still be had fairly late. I think this indicates that the lot premiums were fairly tolerable. Of course, there are probably a few people who just aren’t that price sensitive. I seem to see that phenomena pretty much everywhere. It certainly explains the enigma that is Carmel Valley (among others).
