Cat, your post is very funny. I always think that tidying and cleaning are different things. Tidying up is just putting my junk away: mail, books, clothes, etc., so that the cleaners can actually clean. Cleaning entails washing, dusting, scrubbing, applying windex to windows.
I also think that the forced tidying is a good thing… or at least I try to convince myself of that! Did you hear what Heather Mills said? She’s the gold digger who married and divorced Paul McCartney, one of the many things she hated about Paul was that he liked to tidy up before the cleaners came.
She didn’t see the distinction between tidying and cleaning either…
