Sheesh, you and your jacked up typing scaredy…..sorry, somebody had to say it at some point so it might as well be me.

I guess we’re on different parenting planets. Yes, I have kids, 3 to be exact. And no, I’ve never had a problem finding a place to “put em”. If I didn’t have the resources to raise a child I wouldn’t have them. Why have children if you want them in daycare or a government run school all day? Is that the teacher’s job now to babysit your kids?

You are only as overscheduled and crazy as you want yourself to be. And if you are crazy and overscheduled, why have kids? I don’t think people like that should have dogs.

What if the kids are already here?! Why do other people and institutions have to solve your problems? If you earn a good salary, hire someone to take care of your kids. Kids have always been getting out of school at 2:30. Why do we have to solve this problem for your kids now because you can’t figure out what to do with them between then and when you get off of work? And how do we plan to fund this extra daycare, longer school hours, and less summer vacations anyway? Do we suddenly have a surplus in education funds that I don’t know about?
