[quote=rnen]Let me preface this by saying that I AM NOT a ditto head although I do occasionaly listen to Rush. On matters of fiscal concerns I agree with him more often than not… on other matters not so much.
I will say this …. he IS willing to stand up and be accountable for what he says. He has offered to debate the Chosen One live on air and unscripted. Now before you Obamites go off on how I am just another whacked out far right Rush supporter READ the first paragraph again! I am sure that those that still can reason and do not function totally on emotion would agree…. it would be facinating to see. Two guys who have very strong and, for the most part, very different views of what America should be, going head to head explaining and defending thier views. I would pay good money to see that!
On fiscal matters my money would be on Limbaugh, the rest the edge would go to Obama, with the caveat that he can debate with the same ability that he can read a prompter. There is no doubt, when scripted Obama can captivate his audience.
At the very least I think an unscripted debate would expose to the audience personal view points of both of them that we may not see when they operate in their chosen and safe environments.

rnen my wife and I have talked about things like this unscripted Rush/Obama debate. I think we agreed Rush would still be in a advantageous enviornment regardless of where this debate were held. Rush could tear into him like a pitbull and Obama, as a politician, would have one hand tied behind his back. Maybe I am wrong, but I can’t see any president wanting to walk into that?
I am not an Obamite. However my response to the OP’s question of a Rush/Palin ticket is “barf”.
