Thanks for the replies. I do have that fear that I will miss SoCal so I wouldn’t buy for a couple of years.

I don’t think that I would do the East Coast thing. One reason that I don’t like this particular area is that I don’t like to get into “pissing contests” with other people. We live well below our means and I am a shorts/jeans, tank top and flip flops type of person…no glamour (unless my husband decides to drop some cash on me).
