Wife caved in the cold last night and turned on the heater to 78 (felt like 85) in the master bedroom (also in kid’s room). My efforts have been somewhat reversed. I tried the socks and extra blanket thing and she wasn’t having any of it. told me I could go to the guest room with socks and an extra blanket if I wanted, but she was turning on the heat.

She also gave me a hard time for using her computer last night rather than turning mine on! At least she seems to be getting my experiment and unplugs chargers and seems more cognizant of wasteful lighting. She even allowed me to keep the TVs unplugged (but I had to turn all the DVR’s back on otherwise Cox would deactivate them after 24-48 hours).
