allen: I actually just watched Brazil also. The scene that really resonated with me was when they were in the restaurant eating and their was a bombing. The waiters put a screen up between the wealthy elite and all the carnage so they could eat. I imagine that is going on to some extent today. Iceland’s banking system just disintegrated and the shelves went bare in days. Now that was some serious global trickle down economics.
