Firstly, Joe himself doesn’t matter at all. What matter’s is the BO tax plan’s effect upon small businesses.
Small business has been instrumental in creating new jobs while big business has been cutting jobs. If this election is about what Biden calls a 3 letter word, J-O-B-S, (and man, what an idiot is Biden), then doing anything that negative affects job production is not what we need for our economy now or ever.
If jobs are the priority, we need a tax plan that encourages businesses to grow and new hiring and encourages businesses not to relocate outside the US.
I don’t see how the BO plan does anything to help job creation and, in fact, it would appear it would do the exact opposite.
I read above that someone estimated that if Joe the Plumber bought the business and made $50,000 more they might pay 3% more on that $50,000 or $1500. Well, $1500 is still significant money where I come from. And I think I could choose as well as anyone else what should be done with money I not the Dem party has earned.
How patronizing is it that Bo thinks that he or the government or the Dem party is best to decide where that money should go? Quite frankly, I can’t think of much our government runs so well that I would want them running much of anything.
Lastly, under the Bush cuts we have the most folks already paying nothing at all in Fed tax than ever. Many of these folks even complain about how their tax money is bailing out the rich when they aren’t even paying anything. In fact, thanks to the Dem party the only result of the economic situation is that some of these folks got tax rebates that they never even paid in.
I don’t even mind paying my fair share or even a progressively higher share as I make more. It would be nice if the tax burden would n’t keep getting progressively worse those who work hard to get ahead.
What bothers me is that the less incentive you give to productivity by redistribution of their earned wealth the less productive folks and society become. We need only look at the more socialist societies to see that this is what occurs.
And it would be nice if some of these folks who have been given a hand up would be somewhat appreciative of that help instead feeling a sense of entitlement to the help and money they never earned. It would actually be refreshing if some of these folks would feel the need to repay what help they have been given. It would be nice if some these recipients would find some kind words to say about a nation that helped when they needed help.
For generations many showed this appreciation in particular immigrants showed this appreciation and thanks. They weren’t offered rebates or handouts from government. They were only offered opportunity for those willing to work hard. Yet these folks almost always had a good word to say about this country and have shown their a great deal of gratitude.
Now folks I won’t hold my breath waiting for today’s recipients of government largess to say thanks. Too many of these folks have too large of a sense of entitlement to even have it cross their minds that they are benefiting from the hard work of others. I don’t even blame a lot of those folks because politicians like BO have fostered and encouraged this sense of entitlement and lack of personal responsibility in order to garner votes.
There still is opportunity in this country for folks willing to work hard. We see it every day. We have numerous amounts of illegals coming here happy just to find work even if it’s very hard work.
We just don’t have that type of work ethic among our own citizens anymore.
