The theme here is that centralized banking doesn’t work. Those for centralized banking will argue that it’s needed to maintain growth, stabilize prices and maintain a flexible currency. Free-market capitalism, based on a gold standard, they’ll say, is what causes the boom-bust cycles. When it is actually fiat currency and central banking that causes these problems!
