Ponzi scheme that causes massive environmental destruction as a side benefit. Chinese coal plants are even dirtier than ours and running full speed to power “miners” which themselves become toxic e-waste in 12-16 months after purchase.

All based on a rapidly depleting ecosystem and dependent on population growth, in a finance system that prices in a way decoupled from value.
Maybe its not a ponzi scheme. Maybe we need a new word.
