A tidy fridge is very pleasing to look at.
Open the door and everything is nice and organized.
You want a clean fridge when you have guests so the can help themselves to the fridge. The new fridges with LED lighting look nice.
I think our fridge is about 10 years old (not sure because it came with the house, our other one was too big to fit in the new place) I feel like I did right before we got our first HD TV, I wish it would die so we could get a better one. What is the average life of a fridge anyway, anybody know?
20-30 years. Sealed compressor and all.
Check the energy usage on your fridge. The new fridges are much more energy efficient. If you have kids who open the fridge a lot, it might be worth it to buy a new one.
I look at appliances a lot because I’m remodeling condos.
I wonder why the French door fridges with bottom drawers are so popular. They take up a lot of space because you need extra room to pull the drawer out. Plus when all the frozen crumbs fall to the bottom, you have to contort yourself to clean underneath the freezer drawer basket. Physically challenged people may not be able to reach down there.
