LOL….There may be laws to protect the environment but no enforcement.
I don’t know if you speak Spanish but just to give you an example of what goes on down there I have posted the article below. It is from this week and explains how 14,500 condos have been built illegally without permits in just one neighborhood in Mexico City. This is done with bribes at all levels of government. I can assure you construction on both Mexican coasts is going completely unsupervised.
