And yet not one gentleman’s club within thirty miles. I got rights too!!! Those opposed to the mosque are really missing out on a golden opportunity, if they would approve a strip club next door to the mosque, it would drive the mosque away or at least irritate the crap out of it. In the mean time, we locals would gain a new entertainment option.

December 2, 2010 at 10:20 AM #634774NotCrankyParticipantAll this panic cracks me up. It really boils down to the fact that Christians don’t want the competition. I don’t like religion at the forefront of politics but you can’t blame the muslims for the “in your face” strategies that work so well for the other brands.

December 2, 2010 at 11:34 AM #634809AnonymousGuestThere’s supposedly a strip club near the “ground zero” mosque site, so that may not be much of a deterrent.
More likely a strip club near the Temecula mosque will infuriate the Baptists next door…publicly anyway. Privately, many of them would likely be regulars.
Do you know about the movie, “The Goods” ?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1092633/
The story was set in Temecula, but the film was not actually filmed there. The characters visit several strip clubs in town. If only real life were like the movies…
