I’m about to go into Escrow on a house. But there seems to be two conflicting lot size listed for the property on different web sites.
MLS listing have the property at 6750 sqft as well as Redfin and other sites that pulls info from MLS. However, Cyberhomes and Zillow lists it at 4791 sqft.
Does MLS pulls/verifies it’s info against county property info? Or is it just something Realtor inputs? Could it be that it is actually only 4791 sqft? Do Zillow and Cyberhomes pull the info from County records?
Is there way to verify what is on county record without me having to go to county clark’s office and spend a day there?
My Realtor told me MLS info is pulled from county but I’m not 100% she knows what she’s talking about. She did tell me that it’s not cheap to have the lot size measured.
Have your realtor pull the county tax records and send that to you. Also the title company should be able to send you the plot map. Have your realtor call the title company and get that.
