    I just called Senators Boxer (202-224-3553) and Feinstein (202- 224-3841) and asked them to oppose the Dodd-Lieberman-Isakson amendment ($8k homebuyer tax credit extension.

    I got through to a staffer easily on the first try (yea voter apathy!)

    Call them. It’s easy and there is a potential big return on your investment of 3 minutes.

    If the staffers passed on the message to their queens, I’m guessing it resulted in a smirk and a chuckle at best. Asking them to stop taking your money and giving it to other people is like asking you to stop breathing.

    If a thousand people called, they would just hire more staffers, and continue taking your money.

    I agree, it is hopeless. The best thing you can do is taking care of your own finance.
