Currently 4S Ranch resells (lower end of the range) are lower (about 80K on this one) than similar floorplans from the buidler. We will probably wait to see if the builder matches these prices, if not, we will probably put in a low ball offer as we don’t know if we have the patience to time the depreciation.
Similar 3000 sq ft homes were selling for mid 500s after 9/11 and I’m not sure when they would come back down that far, especially if you factor in about 5% appreciation/year.
