I very clearly remember this date not to long ago as our country suffered a most heinous terrorist attack and thousands of innocent people were killed.

I will never forget how I felt that day for people in the trade center and for the people on those airplanes. People who made cell phone calls to family members to say goodbye. People who for all intensive purposes still fought back in the face of darkness to save lives beyond thier own lives. It seems to me that there has been alot of pain and anguish that has been forgotten.

We should never forget that event. As an adult I think I got a glimmer of how my parents felt on the day Pearl Harbor was attacked but maybe this event was more acute as it was an attack on civilians.

I will always be thankful to those in all of our armed services who protect my freedom.
