Amateur paint jobs can have runs, drips and typically result in too many thick layers of paint over time. Also, darker colors (other than the many co.ors of white and beige) require multiple coats of paint to cover it exacerbating the problem. Typically you have to end up stripping and scraping paint. The worst problems are related to repainting trim and door frames.
