We originally didn’t want a home with a pool but since the rest of the home was exactly what we were looking for, we settled with it anyway. I’ve read a couple of the posts on here about DIY pool maintenance and that’s the route I eventually want to go but not anytime soon. Having never dealt with a pool before, I just wanted to be sure it was reasonable. The monthly cost of $110 to service it weekly seems reasonable but the $50 annual conditioner fee seemed a bit high–considering it’d probably cost only $20 to do it myself and they are buying the chemicals in bulk.

Added note: I need someone that’s super technical, can really research the nitty gritty details, excels in negotiations and doesn’t just blabber fluff.
wild.t.a.ParticipantHey, how about letting all those ridiculously smart immigrants that we educate at elite schools stay in the US for 10 years on worker’s visa after they graduate? Because right now we’re basically educating them and then sending them back to their home country because they can’t find jobs in the US–especially since the job market is already crap and the employer’s would have to petition for a work visa which is an added cost and something most companies aren’t willing to do at the moment.
wild.t.a.ParticipantThank you for the tips!
wild.t.a.ParticipantWhy are these Cali folk so nice until they step into a car and then feel the need to get to wherever they are heading as fast as possible amped up with rage? They sure aren’t like that in any circumstance outside of driving that’s for sure.

wild.t.a.Participant
Do mean that Vantage point is solely, or even mostly responsible for a glut of units for sale? That doesn’t seem to be a realistic statement, because buyers there would seemingly be very different than buyers at BOSA or something more westerly.
I concur. I live in the marina district and would never buy in the area of where vantage is located.
