TemekuTParticipant
Thanks TG. I appreciate your comments. You are a funny guy and very positive…and just as interesting in person as in your writings.
It is nice to see someone so positive minded in a viral world that encourages anonymous mean comments and negativity.
TemekuTParticipantLet me tell you what rednecks are:
My (minority) husband and I (Anglo) were in a diner on Hwy 5 in the Central Valley and a group of Anglo men glared at us and muttered under their breath. I’ve only experienced this a few times and it is uncomfortable.
I equate rednecks with prejudice.
TemekuTParticipantHeadedHome, I am familiar with Morgan Hill and Temeku Hills. I don’t know much about Paseo Del Sol.
TemekuTParticipantI just returned from a week in New Bern NC. What a friendly place. I don’t care for the weather though.
TemekuTParticipantParamount – I don’t know how you managed to slip in between my post and yours and edit your post to deleted the verbage where you called me a fool, but I really don’t appreciate it.
And just for what it is worth, I don’t recall you posting anything positive about Temecula. That’s ok, this place may not be your Nirvana, but still, why are you here if you are so unhappy?
TemekuTParticipantI know you are a local and I am not a fool. I am just weary of your whining. You don’t really know the locals because you like to promulgate the stereotype that we are all a bunch of oafs and rednecks. How many civic and charitable endeavors are you involved in? How invested are you in the well-being of others here? I have posted numerous examples about people I encounter who have moved from more sophisticated and economically upscale areas who are in Temecula by choice. You have posted for years about what a terrible place Temecula is. Why are you still here if you hate this place so much?
TemekuTParticipantMorgan Hill is unincorporated.
Re: Rednecks in Morgan Hill – don’t judge that one by the lifted truck. Paramount, spend some time actually getting to know the locals and you will find that most of the residents in Morgan Hill, as well as TG and I, are not rednecks, have significant academic and professional credentials, and still drive trucks, but also own foreign cars.
I am involved in this community and the HOA, I am acquainted with many people in Morgan Hill, and I find your ongoing stereotype tiring and inaccurate.
TemekuTParticipantYou are correct about ostracizing at an early age. That is learned behavior from the home. My point is simply that it is rarely racial at that age, rather, it stems from a home environment that is conformative, critical and dismissive.

TemekuTParticipantLet’s be careful assigning racial prejudice to a 5 year old demographic group. “People might classify her as timid due to her Asian culture”. Certainly not kindergarteners! Children at age 5 are still too young to pull the race card…unless they are being raised in a white supremecist environment.
P.S. my grandkids will be half Asian
