johnjr,
I have a refrigerator with a filtered ice/water dispenser which works pretty good.
Is there a reason why you are considering a “whole house” system? Do you get thirsty in the bath?tb.

I have a hard time understanding how this new ‘entitlement’ generation, that wants all kinds of free stuff and doesn’t want to work…or at least that hard…is going to be able to support SS in 30 years with their payments. It’s all gonna come crashing down sooner rather than later…[/quote]
Yeah, this new ‘entitlement’ generation sucks.
I much prefer the old ‘entitlement’ generation, that wants to retire at 55 and enjoy 50+ unproductive years watching reruns of MacGyver while collecting government pensions, medicare, etc, because they’ve toughed out their 9-5 for 30 years behind a desk at the DMV.tb

teaboyParticipantCAR, yesyesyes, but I think we risk falling into the old trap of polarizing politics when we frequently try to pigeon-hole people by labeling them based on our imagined understanding of their views and also traps us into dismissing their views as constant and unevolving.
We can label them “anti-govt”, “tea-baggers”, “bourgeois”, “fascists”, or just plain old “republicans”… π
But surely engaging everyone in logical discourse to enlighten and educate (both others and ourselves) is more to our mutual benefit.
Apart from the French, though. Nobody likes them. N’est-ce pas?
