500 Chinese prisoners infected with Covid-19
One way to get rid of prisoners. Think of the billions of $ we could save in the US, if we did the same thing.
Think corrupt Chinese officials would still want to harvest the organs of infected prisoners? They might just be cheap enough that they wouldn’t want the organs to go to waste.

Of course what they’ll do is round up everyone with any respiratory symptoms, novel corona, the flu, or the common cold. Put them all together, so that the folks with the flu and common cold will also now have corona.
February 13, 2020 at 6:57 AM in reply to: Cholesterol, veganism, global warming, coronavirus, cruelty, 10 day vipassana meditation #814742ocrenterParticipantVeganism: it is a triple win. Win for you, win for the environment, and win for the animals.
As for animal products, total instant karma. The Buddha was kinda on to something a few thousand years ago.
In regard to estrogen, no, tofu does not rise estrogen level in men, nor does it suppress testosterone.
On the other hand, fat (especially centralized visceral fat), does actively convert testosterone into estrogen. So that big slab of juicy fatty manly red meat turns more men into sissies than all of the tofu in the world put together. Again, we go back to that instant karma thing.
Karma really is a bitch, preach, Buddha, preach!
ocrenterParticipant
Inflation was already high in China but here is latest headline.
“Inflation in China runs rampant because of the outbreak”
Stagflation here we come.
We were in Ranch-99 Saturday, did not see a lot of people wearing masks (I did not wear one either), We decided to grab something quick to eat at Sam Woo’s but there was this woman coughing fairly badly in the restaurant so we decided to go across the street to Carl’s jr. Yea I know it most likely was the flu or something LOL.
This year’s flu leads to bronchitis and that horrible cough in a lot of people.
I would not be surprised that same lady with flu induced bronchitis would be rounded up and placed in one of the 2 “hospitals” they built in a week to house corona virus victims.
ocrenterParticipant
Hey ocrenter. I thought you might get a laugh out of this.. So me and sign other were at La Jolla Playhouse for a concert when all the sudden sign other starts to get all sniffly because this old lady sitting next to her is wearing a cheap perfume that starts make her nose twichy. So she starts to sneeze. And this poor old lady who looks like she is in her 70ies starts to glare at us, and looks frightened. sign other totally felt bad and we leave during intermission….And I’m laughing all the way home..Sign other commenting “did you see how that lady was looking at me every single time I sneezed becuas of her cheap perfume? I heard her whispering…maybe we should move” I’m like yeah, because you clearly violated social etiquette rule S.W.A….. Sneezing While Asian.
Anyway, being the flunpersom inam who always tried to look at things at a positive angle, I was stategizng how we could use this fearto our advantage. We figured out if there’s a long line and we’re tired of waiting, we’ll whip out out our masks and start coughing while speaking Chinese….I think it might work and get the lines to scatter…..lol
And of course she’ll be so paranoid after the concert that’s she’ll schedule an appointment to see me despite feeling perfectly fine. That’s when I cough some more and tell her I spent the whole weekend with Asians folks at various Asian markets and restaurants. LOL!!!
ocrenterParticipantcongratulations Brian, your blind love for China have led you to a place no American have staked out previously.
despite all of our political differences, the one thing that unites all Americans is the fundamental belief that freedom of speech is a basic human right. You just managed to cross that off your list and threw that belief into the trash bin.
you do realize the very reason the pandemic is as bad as it is at this point is because of the complete lack of free speech within China and the tight power structure that regulates speech. you apparently was also unable to appreciate the irony that the whistle blowing physician had to write a confession citing the error of his ways just prior to his death.
as for wrong predictions. you always have to subtract 2% from the yearly gdp from official figures. some prior predictions looking at sudden collapse may have been wrong, but many that called for an economy mired in years of stagflation are spot on.
a lot of Chinese did buy into your point that money is freedom. but they are realizing that’s just government propaganda. Chinese government actually had propaganda stating they are the world’s LARGEST DEMOCRACY several months ago using the same point you just made. Most of the world and ethnic Chinese world outside of China just laughed and shook their heads, but apparently the propaganda did work for one person outside of China. Again, my congratulations to you on this.
ocrenterParticipant
ocrenter, I don’t know that trust your sources.
You were wrong on the Chinese economy before. As someone else here may say: once you’re wrong about money, you have no credibility. Just joking…. however, I think you’re too hell bent on seeing China fail. I don’t have a dog in the race, and if China does some things well, I can admire their accomplishments and wish we’d learn. China has ambitions just like us, and I don’t fault them for having them.
I’m not pro China. I am pro success and accomplishments, even when they’re not our own.
I do like to see Nazi regimes fail. you are right about that.
as for the credibility issue. LOL coming from you.

Remember there has been dramatic reduction of vehicular traffic and all of the factories are shut down.
I’ll let you guys come to your own conclusion on what kind of organic matter are being burned in these large firepits in the center of Wuhan city and Chongqing.

https://news.ltn.com.tw/news/world/breakingnews/3062782Brian, you can continue to follow the People’s Daily and Global Times English versions for your daily propaganda fix.
ocrenterParticipantThe corona virus epidemic shows the PRC is rotten to the core. There are real structural issues inherent with the top down authoritarian system that’s preventing reform. Remember Xi came in as a reformer, but the stagflation of the last few years and deep seated problems with the SOEs trapped him into this downward spiral of progressive totalitarianism and movement to full Nazi mode.
China ultimately needs to be broken up into multiple smaller states that can evolve and democratize much like S Korea and Taiwan. Eventually when timing is right these smaller countries can come together much like the EU.

From Taiwanese media, sorry, no translation.
Hubei crematoriums working non-stop since Lunar New Year. Interview of one crematorium:
—daily average ntake of 127 bodies, cremation of up to 316 bodies per day.
—volume up to 4-5 times the norm.
—workers getting only 3 hours sleep time per day.
—another crematorium has larger capacity at 576 bodies per day.
—some deceased are waiting up to a week for cremation due to capacity issues.ocrenterParticipant
I would certainly believe 10x the official # of dead. At least it would be match the level of response of quarantining 60M people. I’m sure someone smart is figuring out how many people have died if crematoriums are running 24/7.
Agree. Except we don’t really know what they are burning with those bonfires.
ocrenterParticipant
https://meaww.com/wuhan-crematoriums-burning-100-bodies-day-official-coronavirus-death-toll-remains-500
it’s more than 500 deaths in China.
NPR had a segment on how a family of 5 all had Coronavirus like symptoms, but only one was officially counted.
Actual death count likely 10 times the official count.
ocrenterParticipant
The are rampant rumors that the dead in Wuhan are being sent to crematoriums that are running 24/7. Not sure I entirely believe this, but hey, who knows the real info at this point…
Apparently smog in Wuhan is terrible right now despite all factories fully shut and no traffic on the road. In addition to crematoriums running 24/7, there’s also report of open field large bonfire in the middle of the city plaza burning in the middle of the night.
