This has been discussed many times. There is a very low percentage of people in California that are paying low property taxes thanks to Prop 13. In fact, so many properties were sold and flipped during the past 10 years that property taxes increased expotentially in price, there was plenty of taxes going to our State. The State just doesn’t know how to invest and/or manage their budget and “poof” magically made the money vanish. The more you give, the more it takes and the less there is to show for it.

jpinpbParticipantOMG – come on, people. You know what I mean. Someone w/a good job. So Arraya discriminates against stockbrokers. LOL. Everyone has a particular thing that rubs them the wrong way. If someone worked part time at, say, The Gap or someone worked full time, say, at an engineering company, you’d pick someone w/the better job, regardless of race. Well, I would. Maybe others are just really stuck on race. For me there are way too many factors that I would consider and choose the best candidate.

jpinpbParticipant
Jp: If Penelope Cruz AND Halle Berry showed up to rent my place, I’d PAY THEM to live there!
LOL. You know what I mean. There’s more to race here. Not just attractive women. If someone clean-cut that looked like Will Smith that worked at a stock brokerage company wanted to rent a room, you wouldn’t b/c of his race?
Too many factors to consider.
