I have to agree that I don’t believe the unemployment numbers out there. I wish they would report the U6 numbers. My brother who has a masters degree is unemployed. He said the hardest job he’s ever had is finding a job. He looks and applies every day and is demoralized and traumatized by the difficulty in getting a job, traveling everywhere for day-long multiple interviews. And his unemployment ran out, so he is not falling into U3 numbers. My other cousins who were unemployed each found part-time jobs, so they are happy to have any work, but again, I don’t think they fall into the U3 number either. It’s ugly out there.

I would NOT assume that anything behind walls were fixed. In fact, that is always a concern I have when I see flippers. I wonder if things got fixed right or if I have to undo all the lipstick to have plastic surgery.

I can totally relate. First thing I noticed was yard work. But hardly justifying 100k extra.

This is true and why flippers exist and developers exist. People want new and turnkey. The problem is that there is little guarantee it is done properly, such as the new development thread about Montoro. And flippers cutting corners w/out really fixing major issues that need to be taken care of that could be costly, so they cover it up.

Republicans are doing it to themselves. I would like to support a Republican candidate, if one were presented that made sense to me. Roemer or Johnson are the only two that look good to me right now. Has nothing to do w/parties for me, but the individual.
