anyone else have this experience; the longer we have waited to purchase a house, the pickier my wife has become. we’ve seen a bunch of perfectly good, decent, even nice houses that I would be willing to stretch a bit to buy. she probably would have been thrilled with any of them 5-7 years ago, would’ve been happy
with something half as nice. The longer I wait, the more it takes. I’m not really complaining, because it’s all theoretical and we’re ok where we are, just it seems like, the desired object is always a moving target.
Women think of houses like men tend to think of women. They are always looking to move up to a newer, more sumptuous model that will do things for them that the old model no longer does.

HitlerParticipantI just talked to Norv and he said he’s incredibly relieved that he finally has your seal of approval and can now get on with his life. Unfortunately, Clint Eastwood isn’t so lucky.

HitlerParticipantYeah, it’s interesting that the Fed has bought over a trillion in MBS last year and suddenly the banks are showing profits and the Fed is now talking about raising interest rates. I’m thinking the Fed (taxpayers) took all the junk off the books of the banks and now the Fed wants to raise rates so the banks can make even more money.
