ParticipantDue to my wife not eating warm-blooded animals (she had Salmon) I choose Pinot Noir for T-giving dinner. I prefer the central coast Pinots as they are smooth and bit more subtle than the Oregon Pinots that would probably overpower turkey. Also they are a bit lower priced than the Sonoma wines. My favorites include Babcock, Melville, Foley, Evans Ranch.
As for Chardonnay, the best I’ve had in the past 2 years is the Ramey Hudson Vineyards.
There is a glut of Syrah on the market right now, but you have to careful, some of it is terrible, but along with that great deals can be found!
