CMcGParticipant
I own. But every day, I drive past the 30-unit apt. building where I lived for 11 years until a year ago, and I have been stunned to see that for the first time, there is no “For Rent” sign in front. There was always at least one and sometimes five or six apartments for rent at all times. These units were advertised as luxury and as far as I was concerned, they were. Excellent maintenance, underground parking, really thick walls. I know you guys are mainly talking about houses, but I thought I’d throw in this observation anyway. I was paying $1,275 when I left, mainly because I lived there so long and my unit was not upgraded, but I think these units are now $1,400 plus if you can get one.

CMcGParticipantSD Realtor, I am the O.P. I hear what you’re saying. However, I posted because I am more than 50 years old and have never seen this before. This guy was a class act. He knew not just the neighborhood (where he said he grew up) but the whole county, even the high end. I heard him saying really interesting and great things about the Gellens, for example. I would encourage Realtors to do what he did. Far more interesting than standing in line and listening to idiots talking way too loud on their cells.

CMcGParticipantI had no problem with him. Like I said, he was not aggressive in the least. I just had never seen this before in the branch by my dad’s house that I’ve been going to off and and on since I was 15. I just had not seen this before. Just reporting. He had listings all over the county.
