I’m sorry that you live in Diamond Bar. I grew up there….it sucks. If you want to do anything fun you have to leave the city. They missed the boat while Chino Hills and Brea grew. Congrats on finally getting a Target and Chili’s. It’s about 20 years overdue.

chicobeaksParticipantI bought a Temperpedic pillow top mattress from Mor Furniture a couple of years ago. I went to every furniture/mattress store in SD looking for a bargain. I was told that by every place that Temperpedic tells them what price they have to charge. Each place was willing to throw in extras (free temperpedic pillows, sheet sets, delivery, etc) to try to get the business. I’d bet that those places are hurting right now and you could probably get them to break with the manditory pricing and get them to throw in a lot of stuff. It is hands down the best mattress out there. Don’t by the knock off versions, go with the real thing. You won’t regret it.

chicobeaksParticipantHi Jim,
I was in escrow for a 1bd place in Bay Crest a few years ago. During that time I found out that the HOA was in litigation over a leak under the slab of one of the units. The unit wasn’t livable and the lady had to move out. Apparently they said that it wasn’t covered and it was going to court. The bank freaked out was going to change the terms of my loan because it was in Bay Crest. That was enough for me. I bailed out and it was the best decision I ever made. I would look into the HOA insurance out there before you make any purchases. They were also hitting the residents up with assessment charges at the time. It is a nice place but make sure you do your homework before pulling the trigger on this one.chicobeaksParticipantHi Jim,
